Learn the basic techniques of modeling to create three-dimensional narrative artwork. Students are led through the process of character development from sketch to final 3D form. With an eye to story, concept, characteristics and environment students are encouraged to reach deep into their imaginations and create fantastical figures.

This course will take a look at how masks, monsters, and special effects are created. Students will learn the basic techniques of modeling to create three-dimensional narrative artwork. The process of design from thumbnail sketch to finished small sculpture will be emphasized.
