SU18 Session 5 CSW094.01 Design Challenges Grades 7-9 1:30PM-4:30PM

Jul 16 - Jul 20, 2018

Designers are always coming up with new ways, or improving old ways, of doing things.  Investigate your own capacity to innovate by working with others on a series of design challenges such as an egg drop and tallest tower build. Research, plan, model, test and revise your ideas to optimize both function and appearance with limited materials.  The team-based projects are not only fun, but are also intended to build skills in communicating, problem solving and design thinking.

Monday - Friday, July 16-20, 2018 1:30pm-4:30pm
